There certainly wasn't any call to light the fire on this occasion.

Knowing nothing about this area, I was pleasantly surprised with the surroundings, and will be back at some point to visit some of those hills.
Gaylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08648378503343413924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4694505809435969577.post-30686365609675236732015-04-27T17:21:39.572+01:002015-04-27T17:21:39.572+01:00With hindsight, you were quite right to be jealous...With hindsight, you were quite right to be jealous ;-)

'Twas a very good walkGaylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08648378503343413924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4694505809435969577.post-35310028075147190712015-04-17T08:57:57.330+01:002015-04-17T08:57:57.330+01:00The scenery looks stunning.

How well disciplined you are - I have never had the presence of mind to dry out a wet tent in the middle of the day but just relied on getting it up in the evening and leaving it for a while to do its own thing.

I will be very interested to hear how you rate this tek overall at the end - I wouldn't be surprised if it is near the top of your list assuming the weather is fairly kind.Sir Hughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17908756392825206914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4694505809435969577.post-28315482190088072622015-04-17T00:17:26.358+01:002015-04-17T00:17:26.358+01:00I've stayed in White Laggan a few times over t...I've stayed in White Laggan a few times over the years and had good nights beside the fire. Galloway is a nice wild area I visit a lot doing the various hills. I've only cherry picked the best sections of the SUW so I've cheated.blueskyscotlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09373718369702364265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4694505809435969577.post-48518038469126705882015-04-16T21:29:55.172+01:002015-04-16T21:29:55.172+01:00I think you're mad 'cos I think we all are...I think you're mad 'cos I think we all are.
