The latter two are definitely the worst feature of the Pyrenees.Gaylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08648378503343413924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4694505809435969577.post-72706355807446167762016-07-23T00:08:35.875+01:002016-07-23T00:08:35.875+01:00Mick is looking perkier...Mick is looking perkier...Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05089530928216314797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4694505809435969577.post-44046038069738013032016-07-22T19:35:27.530+01:002016-07-22T19:35:27.530+01:00This comment has been removed by the author.Phreerunnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08551842487502221703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4694505809435969577.post-89017512360693500812016-07-22T19:35:12.691+01:002016-07-22T19:35:12.691+01:00That looks an excellent spot. In 2013 they drove many GR10ers onto the HRP route where they are less troublesome. By the time you receive this comment you should be through the worst areas for them. If anything the mozzies will become more of a nuisance than the horse flies. Having Deet may also be an advantage - I've never carried any insect repellant in the Pyrenees. I'm awaiting the next installment from the library at the excellent gite in Merens...Phreerunnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08551842487502221703noreply@blogger.com
