A Blog about the walking activities of Mick & Gayle, from short strolls to Big Walks, interspersed with other random thoughts about things outdoor related.
The Road goes ever on and on; Down from the door where it began; Now far ahead the Road has gone; And I must follow, if I can; Pursuing it with eager feet; Until it joins some larger way; Where many paths and errands met; And whither then? I cannot say. [JRR Tolkien, Lord of the Rings]
Just re-found your blog today. I passed by the end of Loch Rannoch on the Lands End Walk and had a great walk accross to Loch Ossian and the Corrour Halt on the W. Highland line including an ascent of Ben na Lap.
I got back from Scotland a few days ago after attempting to finish my last 18 Munros. I did 9 including an exciting snowclad ascent of Ben Lui, but then my other knee failed on me and I had to come back home leaving 9 to do.
I would be intersted to hear what your current project is.
We did think of you and your Munro mission as we made our way up Ben Lui in the snow. Alas, any tracks you or anyone else had made up there had been completely covered over by the time we got there - hard work.
Hope your knee is on the mend so that you can knock off those final nine.

I have now read the blog from the beginning and realise what you are up to - good luck.
