The Road goes ever on and on; Down from the door where it began;
Now far ahead the Road has gone; And I must follow, if I can;
Pursuing it with eager feet; Until it joins some larger way;
Where many paths and errands met; And whither then? I cannot say.

Day 8 - Lunchtime

I'm sitting on top of Brown Willy, the high point of Cornwall. The sun is shining down. The wind is still. The superb views and rugged surrounding stretching out around us made the detour to the top worthwhile.

A fine place for a lunchbreak indeed.

  1. Some of us at Ultra are wondering how you get your blog entries posted so quickly?

  2. A fine vantage point - say 'hello' to the lovely barmaid (Landlord's wife?) at the Inn at Alternun who drew me a lovely picture of a Rising Sun (the name of the pub) that I carried all the way to JOG. A thoroughly nice lass.

  3. Hi Richard. The posts are indeed arriving very speedily (with the exception of Day 4 which was missing in action for a while). There's an explanation of the electrickery in 'Mobile Blogging' on the 'Key LEJOG related posts' list on the right hand side of the page (after the map and the blog archive list).
